Cheque presented to Mayor of Christchurch
On Tuesday 25th October 2010 a cheque for £4000 was presented to Councillor Susan Spittle.
The presentation took place in the mayor's parlour over Saxon Square Christchurch
Her charities are:-
Parkinsons Society (Christchurch)
Girl Guiding Twynham
Zoe's Wish

Do you want to get involved ?
Volunteers are required on the event days over the weekend for a variety of duties. But also for the setup and breakdown days which start on the Thursday till Monday / Tuesday.
The event days duties include manning gates, stewarding, back stage....etc etc.
On setup days:- see YouTube video (below), this gives a flavour of the activities involved.

Please note: - This festival is all voluntary and your time will be given free!
Perks may be a few beers and possibly some food, that's all!
Note:- Stewarding / gate duty is not full time, and a few hours per day would be most helpful. However it's good fun, but hard work.
