Volunteers are required on the event days over the weekend for a variety of duties. But also for the setup and breakdown days which start on the Thursday till Monday / Tuesday.
The event days duties include manning gates, stewarding, back stage....etc etc.
On setup days:- see YouTube video (above), this gives a flavour of the activities involved.
Please contact Paul Cole - see contacts page on this site. Please note: - This festival is all voluntary and your time will be given free! Perks may be a few beers and possibly some food, that's all! Note:- Stewarding / gate duty is not full time, and a few hours per day would be most helpful. However it's good fun, but hard work.
Mayor's cheque received with thanks On Tuesday 4th November a cheque for £1200 was presented to Clr David Flagg at the Thomas Tripp pub in Christchurch.
Strong winds bring marquee down
Heavy rain early Sunday morning, and strong winds caused ropes to fray and two poles to collapse. However rapid repairs meant the tent was ready for the sun to come out in the afternoon.
