Charity News
£2000 donated to the Mayor's Charity.
With the inclement weather this year, takings were down, and with increasing costs, even with the bands playing for nothing. There was NOT enough money in the pot to donate a similar amount this year.
Look forward to a scorching summer this year !

Do you want to get involved ?
Volunteers are required on the event days over the weekend for a variety of duties. But also for the setup and breakdown days which start on the Thursday till Monday / Tuesday.
The event days duties include manning gates, stewarding, back stage....etc etc.
On setup days:- see YouTube video (below), this gives a flavour of the activities involved.

Please note: - This festival is all voluntary and your time will be given free!
Perks may be a few beers and possibly some food, that's all!
Note:- Stewarding / gate duty is not full time, and a few hours per day would be most helpful. However it's good fun, but hard work.
